For Royal Enfield's inaugural apparel store in India, amorphous design lab crafted an interactive wall panel that redefines brand engagement by blending heritage with cutting-edge technology. This wasn't just an installation; it was a deep dive into the essence of Royal Enfield, meticulously reverse-engineering iconic components to evoke the spirit of a vintage MOOG synthesiser.
Our team, drawing on our architectural foundation, engineered an experience that marries classic aesthetics with interactive technology. We incorporated authentic Royal Enfield elements, such as shaft gears, oil filler caps, and reflectors, arranging them to create a tactile and visually captivating interface. The interactive nature of the panel is further enhanced by classic RE speedometers, which move in a randomized sequence, symbolizing the brand's profound connection to motion and innovation.
This project showcased our multi-disciplinary expertise, integrating intricate 3D printing for custom components, precise carpentry and joinery for the panel's structure, and sophisticated Arduino programming to control the dynamic elements and interactivity. It's a testament to our ability to create pieces that are not only aesthetically compelling but also deeply engaging and reflective of a brand's unique narrative. This interactive wall panel is a bold statement, perfectly aligning with Royal Enfield's forward-thinking vision while honouring its rich legacy.
