The Fluid Luminaire is a 5-foot, large-scale lighting installation that captures the unseen forces of nature, drawing its complex form from the aerodynamic flow patterns of a sports car. Realized through pioneering 3D printing in transparent PETG, the meticulous fabrication process delivers a sophisticated, frosted glass-like finish that defies conventional manufacturing limits. Designed with the architectural rigor of our founders, the luminaire seamlessly encloses a diffused linear light source, creating an ambient glow. This unique piece, created for Dutta and Kannan Architects, is a powerful statement on the fusion of design, fabrication, and technology.

The Approach
How we solved it — through research, iteration, and intelligent design.
One half of Echolith is finished in a rich, lacquered red—a deliberate nod to the centuries-old Channapatna toy-making tradition, where vibrant lac colors have long defined Karnataka’s craft identity.
